Miami Dolphins 7-round Mock Draft (1.0)

Ask 10 scouts who the Dolphins should draft in the first round with the No. 14 overall pick and you’ll end up with 10 different answers.
The only consensus is that the Dolphins aren’t really that far off from competing if they spend and draft wisely over the next few months.
Of course, the draft (April 30-May 2) will be shaped by free agency, which begins on March 10.
But here’s an early look at where the Dolphins could go in the draft. We’ll revisit it after free agency.
GM Dennis Hickey was active on the first two nights of the draft last year so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Miami makes some moves and acquire more picks.
For now we’ll go with the traditional seven-round model. The Dolphins traded this year’s seventh-round pick to Baltimore in a 2013 midseason trade for Bryant McKinnie, but got it back by trading Jonathan Martin to San Francisco.
