Here’s how did ex-Miami Dolphins (including Dion Jordan) fared on cut-down day

Dion Jordan’s attempt to resurrect his football career is still on hold.

Jordan, the former Dolphins No. 3 overall pick, is attempting a comeback as a defensive end with the Seattle Seahawks, but Saturday they placed him on the reserve/non-football injury list. The team can re-evaluate his ongoing knee problem after the sixth game.

Jordan last played as a member of the Dolphins against the Jets in December 2014. His career has been interrupted by various injuries and repeat violations of the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.

Jordan began last season on Miami’s reserve/non-football injury list.

The Dolphins released Jordan in March and the Seahawks signed him to a one-year contract two weeks later, but he underwent a knee procedure in June and did not appear in any preseason games.

Speculation in Seattle was that the Seahawks were going to release him.
